The Network Splicer Engineer will be responsible for performing fiber optic cable splicing using appropriate splicing equipment and techniques, along with fiber optic cable installation, termination, and maintenance.

The role involves testing and troubleshooting fiber optic networks using equipment such as OTDR, power meters, and visual fault locators to identify and resolve cable faults, signal issues, and connectivity problems.

The engineer will maintain accurate fiber splicing records, test reports, and network documentation, while ensuring proper fiber routing, cable labeling, and compliance with network installation standards.

Responsibilities also include conducting preventive and corrective maintenance of fiber optic infrastructure and coordinating with Network Engineers and field teams during installation, repair, and maintenance activities.
